Helping You Build Social Change and Accountability

Whether you are a small non-profit, well known institution, or anything in-between, Call In Your People will help guide and facilitate the social change you are yearning for. We approach social change through a prevention lens:

Primary Prevention | We develop opportunities for proactive engagement and education to prevent harm before it happens.

Secondary Prevention | We intervene in situations where harm already happened to repair it and prevent it from becoming normalized.

Tertiary Prevention | We cultivate long-term interventions and strategies to confront persistent patterns of harm and injustice.

We honor both the individual circumstances you are experiencing and their relationships to larger arcs of history. We help connect the dots with you to commence long-term sustainable change. This can look like:

  • Developing a workshop series on a particular identity or social change issue

  • Guiding a comprehensive equity strategy that supports non-performative tracks of change

  • Reviewing accountability practices when internal policies are breached or harm occurs, and developing restorative pathways for repair

  • Developing proactive strategies to address social crises outside of an environment of crisis

In addition to consulting on customized workshops, training, or strategic planning, we also offer a slate of pre-designed workshops, including:

  • Sexual Assault & Harassment Prevention

We provide comprehensive training to prevent sexual violence in the workplace. In this training, we spend time exploring socialization as a frame to better understand power, control, and consent. We curate examples from media and provide useful scenarios for dialogue.

  • Embodying Consent

What does a true ‘yes’ feel like? Consent is not just a concept for our sexual relationships; we make choices everyday that ask for our consent. In this workshop, we tune into our body’s needs as a tool to develop authentic consent practices for ourselves and our community.

  • Building Healthy Masculinity

Normative masculinity (often referred to as ‘toxic masculinity’) doesn’t serve the wellbeing of anyone in our community. In this workshop, we unpack gender socialization, explore examples in media that perpetuate broken ideals of self, and practice skills that lead to healthier relationships with ourselves and others.

  • Safety vs. Discomfort in Social Change Practice

Being ‘unsafe’ and ‘uncomfortable’ are not the same! Together, we lean into discomfort to map out boundaries that will support our wellbeing in social change practice.
